Ocean Boiler Care In Nottingham are Gas Safe Registered - Reg No. 234421

What Type of Information do we Collect, how do we collect it & why?
Through our website we collect and store information you provide to us via our
contact forms and boiler care plan packages. The information we collect via our
contact forms requires you to provide your first name, email address and postcode
pre-fix as a minimum. This is the minimum information we need to contact you back in
response to your request. We have included a telephone number entry and a last
name entry if you would like to provide this information to us, but it is not mandatory,
and we only ask for it to assist us in contacting you back following a request you have
submitted. The reason we ask for your postcode is so we can see where you are
located as this can often assist us when prioritizing your request based on how far
away/close you are to our engineers.

With regards to our care plans, we do require more information on sign up as we need
your full name, address telephone number and email address in order to create an
account on our system. This information is stored on WIX who our website provider is.
The information is then inputted into our internal CRM system hosted by Monday.com
which then allows us to manage your care plan adequately. We do not share your
information with any other 3rd party, and we only process your information in the
interest of providing you with adequate service. WIX also gathers your payment card
details in order to take payments from you on a recurring basis. Card information is
stored on WIX’s servers, and we do not share this information with any other 3rd party.
If you sign up to any of our boiler care packages via the website, your email address,
password, purchase history and computer connection information is gathered by the
website which is used to create and manage your account. You can change this
information yourself at any time via your membership account hosted by WIX.
We also collect IP Address that your computer uses to connect to the internet as well
as collection website session information which includes length of visit page response
times, page interaction information and methods used to leave the website. This is so
we can better understand how people interact with our website and to assist us with
improving our engagement.

How do we store information?
Our website is hosted by WIX.com. They provide us with a basis for hosting our
website and supporting and offering our services to you. Your data may be stored
through WIX.com applications, data storage & databases. They use firewalls to store
your information behind. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used
by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI
Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure
handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. If you have a
care plan or proceed with any booking of our services, we will copy your personal
information to our internal CRM system which is hosted by Monday.com. We do this
so we can provide the agreed service to you. We do not copy any personal
information you may have provided to us if you do not wish to proceed with any of our
services.

How do we communicate with site visitors?
Unless you complete one of our online forms or sign up to a care package, we will not
contact you as we have no reason to contact individuals who have not directly
expressed an interest in our services via one of our forms or by signing up to a care
plan. Once you have submitted information on our form, we may contact you either
by email, phone or SMS depending on what is most appropriate and based on the
contact information you have provided to us. If you sign up to a care plan, we will
